Get in touch
Give our Admissions Registrar, Holly Fowlkes, a call on 01656 789966 to discuss your child's needs, check availability and find out more about our impressive school.
Visit us
Experience the welcoming atmosphere of St Clare's first-hand by coming along to one of our Open Days. Our Headteacher, Helen Hier, staff and students look forward to meeting you to show you around and give you an insight into school life.
For entry into Sixth Form, we are offering Year 12 Discovery Days and would love to hear from you if your son or daughter are interested in taking part. Sixth Form tours are also available by appointment.
Apply
When you're ready to take the next step, simply complete the registration form and pay a fee of £75.00 (non-refundable). This will enable us to start our assessment process to ensure that we can meet your child's needs.
Book your child's Taster Days
Available at Reception, Prep School and Senior School stage, this is a great way for your child to meet their classmates and our teachers while we assess their capabilities and behaviour.
Nursery children can enjoy at least two of our taster 'settling-in' sessions to establish whether the school can provide appropriately for your child’s needs and for your child to experience life as a St Clare’s pupil.
For Sixth Form entry, students will be invited for interview. We will also ask their current school for a pupil reference and predicted GCSE grades.
Receive an offer
Once we have received a satisfactory school reference and gathered feedback from staff on the outcome of the Taster Days, you will receive a time-limited offer by post. Your child’s educational journey is about to begin.
Complete admission
Simply complete and return the admissions documentation with a deposit of £250.00 to secure your child’s place. This deposit is held on your account and will not be deducted from the first term’s fees.
Courtesy.
When a child is moving to us from another independent school, our Registrar will remind the parents of their contractual obligations regarding giving notice and, when all formalities have been completed will, as a courtesy, inform the child’s present Headteacher of the proposed transfer.
