St Clare’s Prep took part in the Porthcawl and Pyle Library Quiz we are delighted to share that they won. The pupils received a trophy each, book vouchers and a goody bag.

The two pupils, Alice and Oscar, had to read the novel ‘Utterly Dark’ by Philip Reeve. They competed against four other primary schools and had to answer 20 questions based on the book. Chloe was our ‘reserve’ so she and our Year 6 teacher, Mr Emanuel, supported the team.

They will now represent St Clare’s in the Bridgend County Schools Library Quiz in June. Venue and date to be decided.
