Academic excellence is achievable for every student

The high quality of teaching and our excellent learning support team ensure that the vast majority of children achieve above national expectations and make better than expected progress. This is supported by our excellent Learning Support Department that enables our students to access additional support in their lunch and break times.

With an open-door policy in which students can just turn up, our friendly and supportive staff are ready to help them tackle subjects or topics that require further explanation. Additional support is also available including literacy and numeracy development and study skills consolidation.

The latest Year 11 cohort have shown an abundance of determination and resilience. Despite a challenging few years, students went on to achieve some fantastic GCSE results. We are extremely proud of all they achieved.
