This year’s star performers with 10 or more A*-A grades were Scarlett C, Lily D, Keyaan I, Nia L and Nat M. Ollie T also achieved 9 A*-A grades.

The school extends a huge congratulations to them all, but equally well done to all pupils who have worked so hard during the GCSE courses and whose grades truly reflect their ability and dedication.

Value Added Performance at St Clare’s

Every pupil has unlimited potential for growth and at St Clare’s, with great importance being placed on Value Added performance, with pupils attaining on average two grades higher per subject by the end of A-levels, compared to the national average for a child of their ability.

Headteacher, Helen Hier, said: I am incredibly proud of the achievements of all our pupils. These fantastic results are testament to their hard work but also to the exceptional teaching and support from our staff who continually inspire our pupils to achieve excellence.”

“It is a pleasure to celebrate these results with all our pupils today and to wish them the very best for the future.”

This year’s GCSE results at St Clare’s follow last week’s excellent A-Level results where pupils achieved 35% at A*-A and a 100% pass rate yet again.  St Clare’s has been in the top 5% of top performing A-Level schools in the UK for the last four years and anticipates this to be the same this year. The 2024 A-Level grades build on the excellent results seen in previous years, with St Clare’s achieving a clean sweep of 100% pass rate across all subjects.
